Repurpose Hub Playbook

Operator workflow to turn one source asset into 10+ channel-ready formats — blog cutdowns, threads, scripts, carousels, and email — with copy-paste AI prompts and a publishing matrix.

This page is the operator playbook — use the templates below today. Interactive UI lands next. Check your AI search readiness meanwhile.

What this page is

One source asset → a stack of derivatives for the channels you already post on. The Repurpose Hub UI (paste once, pick formats, export bundle) ships later. This page is the full operator playbook you can run today in any AI chat or doc.

Think assembly line, not one-off rewriting.

What one source can become

From a single pillar (blog post, podcast transcript, webinar, or internal memo):

DerivativeTypical length
Thread (X/LinkedIn)5–12 posts
Carousel outline8–10 slides
Short script (Reels/TikTok)30–60 sec
LinkedIn post150–250 words
Email snippet120–180 words
Pull quotes / FAQ / hooks3–5 each

You won't ship all ten every time. Pick 4–6 per pillar using the matrix below.

Source asset template

Paste this at the top of every repurposing session:

PILLAR TYPE: [blog | transcript | video script | memo]
TITLE: [working title]
AUDIENCE: [who]
CORE THESIS: [one sentence]
KEY POINTS: [3–7 bullets]
PROOF: [stats, quotes, examples — or "none"]
CTA: [one primary action]
VOICE: [MyGearHut: direct, operator-focused, no hype]
DO NOT: [banned phrases, competitor names, etc.]

Master repurposing prompt

You are a content operations lead. I will give you a pillar asset and a list of OUTPUT FORMATS.

For each format:
1. Produce ready-to-paste copy (not instructions about what to write).
2. Preserve factual claims from the source — do not invent data.
3. Match platform norms (thread = short lines; script = spoken words).
4. Include a one-line "editor note" on what to customize before posting.

Maintain one consistent thesis across all formats.

OUTPUT FORMATS (check all that apply):
[ ] Thread (X/LinkedIn)
[ ] Carousel slide outline (title + body per slide)
[ ] 45-second vertical video script (hook / body / CTA with timestamps)
[ ] LinkedIn single post
[ ] Email newsletter blurb
[ ] 5 pull quotes (≤20 words each)
[ ] FAQ (5 questions sourced from the pillar)
[ ] Hook bank (5 opening lines for ads or boosts)

Format-specific micro-prompts

Use these when you only need one derivative.

Thread builder

Turn the source below into a [PLATFORM] thread.
Rules: First post = hook + promise. Last post = CTA. Max 280 chars per post (X) or 130 words (LinkedIn). Number posts 1/N. No thread emoji spam.
Source:
[PASTE]

Carousel outline

Create a 9-slide carousel outline from the source.
Slide 1: hook headline only. Slides 2–8: one idea each (headline ≤6 words, body ≤25 words). Slide 9: CTA.
Add designer note per slide: suggested icon keyword.

Short vertical script

Write a 45-second spoken script for Reels/TikTok.
Structure: 0–3s hook, 3–35s three beats, 35–45s CTA. Mark [ON SCREEN TEXT] cues.

Publishing matrix (pick your stack)

If pillar is…Ship firstShip within 7 days
Long blogThread + LinkedIn postCarousel + email blurb
Podcast transcriptPull quotes + short scriptBlog cutdown + FAQ
WebinarFAQ + carouselEmail + hook bank
Internal memoLinkedIn postThread (sanitized)

Rule: Same thesis, different packaging — not four unrelated takes.

Operator workflow (weekly batch)

  1. Monday — Publish or finalize one pillar.
  2. Tuesday — Run master prompt; paste outputs into a repurpose-{slug}.md doc.
  3. Wed–Fri — Schedule one derivative per day (thread → carousel → short → email).
  4. Friday — Log what performed; note hooks to reuse.

Quality gate

  • Thesis identical across derivatives — no contradictory claims
  • CTA points to one primary URL per campaign
  • Transcript scripts trimmed for spoken pace (read aloud once)
  • Threads broken at natural cliffhangers, not mid-sentence
  • No duplicated full paragraphs across platforms same week (algorithm + audience fatigue)
  • Facts verified — AI repurposing preserves errors too

Status

Interactive Repurpose Hub (single paste → format picker → export bundle) ships soon. This playbook is the pipeline until the UI lands. Minimum pillar: ~800 words. Always human-edit — AI gives 80%, you verify facts and voice.
